Great news everyone, you’ve all been asking me to play more Gigs and today I’m happy to announce just that. Here are some details of a couple of upcoming acoustic shows I’ll be playing this week!
The Hope – Norwood
1-4:30pm – 14th February
The Signal – Forest Hill
8-10pm – 19th February
First up is a daytime acoustic session at The Hope in Norwood – this is perfect for those of you who are still looking for something to do for Valentines Day as you can enjoy Live Music and The Hope’s legendary Roast Dinner. If you’re worried about missing the Football, fear not, as thanks to the unique shape of the bar you’ll be able to experience both the Football and the Live Music.
This is more of an informal and acoustic show as we’ll be background music for those who are dining in the pub – perfect for those who want some easy listening for Sunday afternoon. Joining me will be Al Howell on Bass.
Next on the list is The Signal opposite Forest Hill Station. Situated where The Hob used to be, this pub has risen from the ashes (metaphorically of course!) under it’s new name The Signal. This coming Friday I’ll be playing from 8pm for an epic two hours of all kinds of music. You can expect to hear plenty of my original songs, some of which have never been performed live before, as well as covers of everything from the 50s through to the present day.
This will also be a unique opportunity to see the band in one of it’s smaller setting as joining me for the performance will be Al Howell on Bass and Sheridan Lloyd on Cajon. We’re really looking forward to playing The Signal so get yourself down there this Friday for a drink and a meal all while you enjoy the live entertainment from yours truly. We hope to see a few of you there and don’t be afraid to say Hi afterwards!
