All I Can Think About Is You starts off with a lovely little understated bass and guitar riff before exploding with piano and strings all over the place. Now here’s something a bit different – deep in the old JPR archives in a dark little corner, an old film reel was discovered. Long thought lost it revealed itself to be an incredibly early incarnation of the now popular Cover Video. The reel, despite being in black and white and scratched all over, still plays and now for the first time this video is being made public…
I’ve been on a bit of a musical theatre roll lately so here’s a cover of Hushabye Mountain – a lovely little song from the classic musical Chitty Chitty Bang Bang! Originally performed by Dick Van Dyke, this is a beautiful song written by The Sherman Brothers and given my musical theatre background I couldn’t resist recording a little cover of it. This didn’t happen overnight, I’ve been involved with the project for over a year at this point.
